Pastor Jim Olson leads the Ottumwa congregation along with his wife Faye. Jim draws from over 40 years of experience in Church leadership. He and Faye have pastored in northern Minnesota, northern Iowa and Southern, Iowa. Jim had his first encounter with the Lord when as a 14 year old boy he heard an Oral Roberts radio broadcast. At Oral’s prompting, Jim placed his hand on the radio and felt the presence of God. At the age of 15 Jim found himself at Pentecostal revival meeting where he heard a clear presentation of the Gospel. Jim surrendered his life to the Lord and soon after enrolled in the Calvary Bible College in Superior, Wisconsin. It was while a student that Jim met his future wife Faye. They are the proud parents of three sons and one daughter and the grandparents of 15 grandchildren. All of their children are involved in ministry.
